Scattered Islets from Britania

Repost from Tumblr account.
Last Mothers’ Day, my family and I decided to go on a 3-hour roadtrip from Butuan to discover this beautiful and serene untouched set of islets, all surrounded with lush blue waters and pure white sugary sand. Once you get to San Agustin, Surigao del Sur, you get welcomed by this sign directing you toBritania Islands. It’s a wonderful location for beach bummers such as myself and just appreciating the natural beauty of what our country has to offer. We may hear places like “Boracay, Palawan, Batangas, Bohol” as the must-to-go destinations every time you want to hit the beach but there’s also a lot Mindanao has to offer. I suggest you try Surigao, there are so many places to go to once you are there!
Once you arrive at the port area, friendly people greet you and offer you to avail their bangka as your means of transportation to enjoy the island-hopping experience on these wonderful islets. As our tour guide mentioned, Britania Islets was discovered just a year ago. Talk about true, virgin beauty of nature.
And now let the picture speak for themselves as I share to you my experience from Britania Islands from Surigao del Sur.

Good life in Paradise

(repost from my Tumblr account)
I’m back to blogging! YEY! Can someone play the drums and bugles? Anyhow, let’s not get into more nonsense celebrations as I am millenniums away from my backlogs. Too much has happened in the past few months and I can’t wait to share it all here. (That is of course assuming that there are people who are bored in their butts and instead of doing something productive in their lives, they are left with no choice than to read my blog. Teehee!)
Last April 26, 2011 we went to the beautiful beach cove paradise down south of our beautiful country, Dakak Park Beach Resort. Probably 7-8 hours land travel if you came from Cagayan de Oro and only more or less 1 hour land trip from Dipolog if you decide to travel via plane since it’s the nearest airport Dakak-bound. The roads are swirling here and there and hidden deep within Dapitan City but once you step inside the paradise, it’s mind blowing BEAUTIFUL. I’ve never seen sea waters as clear and as still as from what I’ve seen in Dakak. Amazing.

my first trip abroad...

Repost from my Tumblr account:
It was around this time last year when we came back from our trip from Bangkok, Thailand. It was a really short one so we only went to just a few of the many tourist spots the the country was full of.
So allow me to be sentimental and let the photos tell you our story.
About 3AM Bangkok time, we landed safely in their huge and beautiful airport. Thank you CebuPac for that scary, bumpy 4-hour flight (there was a lot of turbulence!).
