Good life in Paradise

(repost from my Tumblr account)
I’m back to blogging! YEY! Can someone play the drums and bugles? Anyhow, let’s not get into more nonsense celebrations as I am millenniums away from my backlogs. Too much has happened in the past few months and I can’t wait to share it all here. (That is of course assuming that there are people who are bored in their butts and instead of doing something productive in their lives, they are left with no choice than to read my blog. Teehee!)
Last April 26, 2011 we went to the beautiful beach cove paradise down south of our beautiful country, Dakak Park Beach Resort. Probably 7-8 hours land travel if you came from Cagayan de Oro and only more or less 1 hour land trip from Dipolog if you decide to travel via plane since it’s the nearest airport Dakak-bound. The roads are swirling here and there and hidden deep within Dapitan City but once you step inside the paradise, it’s mind blowing BEAUTIFUL. I’ve never seen sea waters as clear and as still as from what I’ve seen in Dakak. Amazing.

White sand, still blue waters, just enough clouds to cheer up the blue sky, oh yes it really was PARADISE. (Play Paradise by Coldplay in the background to set up the mood).
It may not be Boracay where you can get up and go party party all the way but it was really fit for rest if it was your type of recreation which in our case was, well we sorta needed it after all the sleepless nights and stress we encountered from work. (will post about this soon)

And of course the scenery was perfect to feed our vanity as I mentioned. Picture perfect views.

Not only do they have the breathtaking beach to boast, they also have pools fit for people (like us) to enjoy the kid at heart in them and just have fun swimming around and enjoy the water slides.

The best part about our Dakak trip? We got to witness a very beautiful beach wedding where I swear I couldn’t hold my tears and they just fell effortlessly from my eyes. I suck at these things, gives me a soft heart. Hahaha!

Ayan mga echosero! There’s Louie at the far right of this pic. Most echosero of all. HAHAHA!

The rest of the night we spent at Gloria’s Fantasyland. Age doesn’t matter. Strong emphasis there. We enjoyed the park like we were 5 years old or something. Watched their shows, went inside the HORROR HOUSE which is by the way a rating of 15 out of 10. It was that good!!!! Super lingaw!!!! Especially if you go inside with your barkada, makes things more complicated and crazy, just the way I like it.

Then had chill shots back at our Dapitan “home”. We also had our fair share of horror at this place where the boys’ room’s door opened by itself with no one left inside except Kuya Driver who was snoring at his bed from the far side of the room. Talk about adventure.

After 2 hours of sleep (or was that one?) we woke up with free coffee and small bite size feedings as breaky made by our Dapitan Nanay and Tatay, the hosts and owners of our Dapitan home. They were sugar sweet to us which made our stay a whole lot better.
Drove back to Dakak at exactly 6:50AM to make it in time for our 1 hour boat ride to the hidden virgin island of Aliguay.

Off aboard to our fabulous “yacht” as we prefer to call it. Haha!

An hour after, HELLO ALIGUAY!

Had our grub at the island. I swear it was like the island was all exclusive for us! It’s so peaceful. Perfect for a barkada getaway.

The island also has a great coral reef to boast as based from what we saw from our snorkeling adventure.

Plus more happy photos to prove how much we enjoyed our short stay here.

Then on our way back to Pagadian, we saw SLATER YOUNG in the middle of the highway (no he’s not a lost retard in the middle of the road but in the middle of his motorcade at Dipolog). Our car stopped, we opened our car windows and screamed at the top of our lungs!! Gave him a shock and he ended it with a smile.

And that concludes my post about my summer vacay with Higz all the way south at Dakak and Aliguay Island. And I would like to congratulate you for making it all the way here to the end of my blog. Wow, you really must be bored and all that. Haha! Kidding aside, thank you for taking your time to read my blog.
Kisskiss,
